250KMile ratingWhat should you pay for a used GMC Yukon?
Across the 47 below-market GMC Yukon listings we track right now, the median asking price is $39,820 against a median market value of $41,981 — an average of 6.1% under. Typical mileage works out to about 16,500 miles a year, so a 2019 example carrying much more than 115,500 miles is above average for its age and should be priced accordingly.
These are dealer asking prices on cars already filtered to below-market listings, not sale prices, and they exclude tax, title and fees. Use them as a negotiating floor, not a valuation.

Known issues to check on the GMC Yukon
One widely reported problem pattern applies to this model year. That does not mean this car has the fault — many were fixed under warranty or recall — but it is what to check, and what to ask the seller for, before you buy.
- 8-speed automatic transmissionWorth checking
The 8L90/8L45 eight-speed is widely reported to shudder and clunk on light throttle — the well-known "Chevy shake" — traced largely to the torque converter and transmission fluid.
What to check: Drive at 25–50 mph on light throttle and feel for a vibration through the floor. Ask whether the torque converter was replaced or the fluid changed to the revised Mobil 1 spec.
Patterns are drawn from NHTSA recalls and complaints, manufacturer service bulletins and consistent owner reporting. Always confirm open recalls against the VIN and get an independent pre-purchase inspection.
